Beginning Quilt Next Beginning Quilt Class starts January 6, 2010 for 8 weeks and is Wednesdays from 10AM to 1PM or 6-9PM. Come and join us for this fantastic experience. Class is free with purchase of pattern and fabric. Please note that you must come in a few days prior to the class to choose your fabric. We cannot teach and put together a quilt at the same time. .Color Class Never be afraid to put colors together again. This class will teach you so many new things that you will be amazed at the confidence you gain while experimenting with fabric and making some great projects. Class starts January 18, 2010 from 6-9PM and goes for a total of 7 weeks covering a 4 month period and concludes April 26, 2010. Instructor: Jill Stein Skill Level: Beginner Investment: $75 plus book and supplies Block of the Month, Pieced Baltimore Jill will be offering a pieced Baltimore Quilt this year starting January 16, 2010. She has the sample hanging in the shop so come in and see this beauty. The pattern consists of 13 individual pieces… This is scheduled the 3rd Saturday of the month starting January 16, 2010 from 1-4PM and also on the first Monday evening from 6-9PM. Hand Appliqué .Baltimore BOM This is a new BOM starting in January 2010. The date has now been fixed for the second Saturday and second Monday from 10AM to 1PM beginning January 9 and 11, 2010… As of this date, the Monday class is full but there is still room in the Saturday class so don’t miss out on the wonderful experience. We will order the books as people sign up and if you buy your background fabric here, we will give 20% of the book price. The cost is $60 at registration and you will have a month to complete each block so it is a quilt that is easy to achieve. Instructor: Nova Schleicher Skill Level: Advanced Beginner Investment: $60 plus book and supplies Stash Friendly Placemat of the Month We have a wonderful opportunity to create placemats celebrating each month of the year. They are designed by Jackie Robinson and are very easy to assemble. The first month is a snowman and the second month are hearts. Each month is a different theme.
